Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
The short version. We collect the information you give us on this site so an advocate can review your Social Security Disability claim and call you back. We record your consent to be contacted using two independent third-party services. We do not sell your information. You can ask us to stop contacting you or to delete your data at any time.
On this page
1. Who we are
This site, disabilift.com, is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], doing business as Disabilift Advocates ("Disabilift", "we", "us"). We help people apply for and appeal Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits.
This policy explains what we do with personal information collected through this website and through calls, texts and emails that follow from it.
2. We are not the government
Disabilift is a private company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Social Security Administration (SSA) or any other government agency. You can apply for Social Security benefits yourself, free of charge, at ssa.gov. Nothing you submit here goes to the SSA unless and until you engage us and we file on your behalf.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — name, phone number, email address, state, preferred time to call.
- Claim details — your age range, where you are in the Social Security process, whether you are working, how long you have been unable to work, whether you are receiving medical treatment, and a description of your condition.
- Callback preferences — the date and time slot you select.
- Anything else you tell us — on the phone, by email, or by text.
Our forms include an optional voice input button. If you use it, your browser converts speech to text on your device or through your browser vendor's service, and only the resulting text is sent to us. We do not receive or store an audio recording from that feature.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser data — browser type, operating system, screen size, time zone, and IP address.
- Usage data — pages viewed, how far you scrolled, which buttons you tapped, how long you spent on the page, and how far you got through the form.
- Referral data — the page or advertisement that brought you here, including advertising click identifiers such as
gclid, wbraidandmsclkid, and campaign tags (UTM parameters).
Information from third parties
If you engage us, we request medical records, employment records and claim files from your healthcare providers, former employers and the SSA, using authorisations you sign separately. Those records are governed by that engagement, not by this website policy.
4. Health information
To evaluate a disability claim we need to know about your medical condition. That information is sensitive, and several state laws treat it as a special category.
We collect health information only because you choose to give it to us so that we can assess your claim. We use it for that purpose and to provide representation if you engage us. We do not use health information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
We are generally not a "covered entity" under HIPAA. Information you submit through this website is not protected by HIPAA and, before you sign a representation agreement, is not protected by attorney-client privilege.
5. Consent certification (Jornaya and TrustedForm)
When you fill in our forms, two independent services record how you interacted with the page. This exists to protect you as much as us: it creates evidence of exactly what disclosure you were shown and that you agreed to it.
- Jornaya (a Verisk business) issues a LeadiD certificate — an identifier tied to a recording of your visit and the consent language displayed.
- ActiveProspect TrustedForm creates a certificate that documents the page you saw, the fields you completed and the consent text present when you submitted.
These services set their own cookies and collect technical data about your session. Neither receives your health information. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies: Jornaya and ActiveProspect.
6. How we use information
- To review whether we can help with your claim and to contact you about it, by phone, text and email.
- To provide representation services if you engage us.
- To keep records of your consent to be contacted, as required by law.
- To operate and improve the website, including measuring which pages and advertisements work.
- To detect and prevent fraud, spam and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.
7. How we share information
| Who | Why |
|---|---|
| Service providers | Hosting, form processing and data storage, call handling, email and text delivery, and consent certification. They may only use the data to perform services for us. |
| Advocates and attorneys | If your claim is better handled by a partner representative or law firm in your state, we share your details with them so they can contact you. We tell you if this happens. |
| Advertising and analytics providers | Google and Meta receive limited event data about site activity. See section 9. |
| Legal and safety | Where required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of any person. |
| Business transfers | If the business is sold or merged, your information may transfer as part of that transaction. |
8. Selling and sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Some state privacy laws define "sell" and "share" broadly enough to cover the use of advertising cookies and pixels that pass identifiers to Google and Meta for cross-context behavioural advertising. To the extent that activity counts as selling or sharing under those laws, you can opt out.
To opt out, do any of the following:
- Email support@disabilift.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share".
- Call us at (888) 846-0612 and tell the advocate.
- Send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser — we treat it as a valid opt-out request.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
9. Advertising and analytics
We advertise on Google and other platforms and we measure which advertisements lead to enquiries. To do this we use Google Ads conversion tracking and analytics tags, and we may use Meta advertising tools. These set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and receive event data such as "a form was submitted" or "a call button was tapped".
We do not send your health information, your claim answers or the content of your condition description to advertising platforms.
You can limit ad personalisation through Google My Ad Center, your Meta ad settings, and your browser's cookie controls.
10. Your choices
- Calls and texts. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. Tell any caller to put you on our internal do-not-call list and we will. Withdrawing consent does not affect any claim we are already handling for you.
- Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Cookies. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies. Blocking them may stop parts of the site from working.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it
- Get a copy of it, or have it sent to another provider
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete it
- Opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
These rights apply under laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and comparable laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and a growing number of other states.
To make a request, email support@disabilift.com or call (888) 846-0612. We will verify your identity before acting, usually by confirming details you already gave us. An authorised agent may act for you with written permission. We respond within the time the applicable law allows, normally 45 days. If we refuse a request we will tell you why, and you may appeal by replying to our response.
12. How long we keep data
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to evaluate and pursue your claim, and afterwards for as long as required to meet legal, tax and record-keeping obligations or to defend legal claims. Consent certification records are kept for at least five years, which reflects the limitation period for telephone consumer protection claims. When data is no longer needed we delete it or de-identify it.
13. Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls and reputable service providers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send us Social Security numbers, bank details or full medical records by email or through this website's forms.
14. Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian may contact us about a child's disability claim. If you believe a child has given us information, email support@disabilift.com and we will delete it.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when. If we make a significant change we will make that clear on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
